Standards of Learning Released Tests

These files are a form of the tests that students across the Commonwealth of Virginia took as part of the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) Assessments. The test questions are representative of the content and skills included in the Virginia SOL tests and are provided to help you understand the format of the tests and questions. The answer to each question can be found in the back of each test booklet.

Archived Tests

The following Standards of Learning (SOL) tests are archived and are based on previous versions of the Standards of Learning (SOL) that are no longer being used in the Virginia public schools except in situations where students may still be taking previous grade 8 or End of Course SOL test.
