Standards of Learning Released Tests

These files are a form of the tests that students across the Commonwealth of Virginia took as part of the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) Assessments. The test questions are representative of the content and skills included in the Virginia SOL tests and are provided to help you understand the format of the tests and questions. The answer to each question can be found in the back of each test booklet.

..."The Standards of Learning (SOL) for Virginia Public Schools establish minimum expectations for what students should know and be able to do at the end of each grade or course in English, mathematics, science, history/social science, technology, the fine arts, foreign language, health/physical education and driver education..." source.

Students will be tested on the more rigorous content standards, adopted by the Board of Education, as follows:

Mathematics beginning with the 2011-2012 school year

English beginning with the 2012-2013 school year

Science beginning in the 2012-2013 school year
