Math and Science Activity Center

The following activities target a middle and high school population although some of the activities are approachable by more advanced elementary school students.

The activities are also ideal for the general public to review basic concepts and learn about new technologies.

The pages make extensive use of javascripts, and Java applets making for a more interactive environment.

Learn the basic principles of scientific notation. Javascript's will enable you to practice converting any number from basic notation to scientific notation.

PRACTICE INTERNATIONAL MATH AND SCIENCE TESTS	Each of the sample tests Edinformatics designed, use actual questions from the TIMSS (Third International Math and Science Survey). Tests consist of 25 questions from each of the representative groups. Test is marked online and can be compared to other students that take the test -- Grades 3,4,7,8 ,10,12 and Advanced Mathematics
